Concept
The design concept of the university foyer is inspired by the need to encourage students to utilize this space for socializing, conversations, and creative activities. The foyer is an open-plan area or seamless space, considered one of the most highly trafficked areas in the building. The flow of movement is facilitated without congestion, ensuring visibility and safety for students. The space is equipped with chairs and study areas for students to collaborate, exchange ideas, and engage in cultural exchange. Additionally, the design includes accessible counters to cater to individuals with disabilities, featuring lowered and wheelchair-accessible sections. There are also movable exhibition booths that can be adjusted to accommodate various events throughout the year, such as Father’s Day or Mahidol Day. The curved lines incorporated into the design add a smooth and functional flow, enhancing the visual appeal and usability of the space.
